Match Preview
Sercombe seeks out Grecians comeback Exeter midfielder Liam Sercombe has handed manager Paul Tisdale a huge boost by returning to training, and he may play a part in the Grecians' clash with Oldham. Sercombe has been out with a broken foot for six weeks, but has been involved in full training this week. Tisdale will not risk a start for the 21-year-old against the Latics, although he may find himself of the bench. The Exeter boss said: "Liam has got a couple of days in training and then he has a chance of being on the bench on Saturday. That is a big boost." Striker Guillem Bauza is pushing for a recall to the starting line-up after enjoying a handful of substitute appearances following his recovery from injury, and fellow frontman John O'Flynn could also feature. Bradley Diallo could be in line to return to the Oldham starting line-up as they bid to record a third successive away win. Latics manager Paul Dickov opted not to use the full-back in the 2-0 home defeat to Brentford, despite his return from suspension, selecting those who had kept a clean sheet against Leyton Orient instead. At his pre-match press conference, Dickov said: "Do I keep the same team after a victory, or with people coming back fit, do I change it? "Maybe that's something I have learned from last week." Captain Dean Furman (knee) has yet to feature this year but should be back in full training next week. Paul Black (groin) is close to returning to training while Josh Parker is still five or six weeks away from action.

Match Report
Grecians find the groove Exeter recorded their first win in six games with a well-deserved 2-0 victory over Oldham thanks to goals from Daniel Nardiello and Guillem Bauza. The Grecians should have been awarded a penalty in the first minute when Jake Taylor was tripped inside the box, but nothing was given. Guillem Bauza and James Dunne also went close to opening the scoring. Exeter continued to attack at will and made the breakthrough in the 19th minute when a fine passing move involving Dunne and Bauza ended with Nardiello tucking the ball into the bottom corner. It was only Exeter's fifth league goal of the season. The home side doubled their lead four minutes after the interval when Scott Golbourne's cross was headed down by Taylor and Bauza lashed in from close range. Oldham had chances to score themselves, but found Exeter goalkeeper Artur Krysiak in brilliant form. The Pole made three outstanding saves to deny Reuben Reid twice and Matt Smith. Zander Diamond also hit the post late on for the Latics.
