Cureton concern for Grecians Jamie Cureton is Exeter's only doubt as Paul Tisdale's men welcome high-flying Huddersfield to St James Park. The veteran striker was substituted 36 minutes into the goalless draw with Swindon last weekend due to a hamstring injury and missed the midweek defeat against Southampton. While injury looks set to sideline Cureton, on-loan goalkeeper Ben Hamer has vowed to play through the pain barrier. The 23-year-old suffered a groin strain against Swindon and had to rely on pain killers to get him through the 2-1 defeat to Southampton. "I tweaked something and picked up a groin strain in the last five minutes against Swindon and, even though it's clearing up, I had to take a few pain killers to get me through the Southampton game," he said. "I'm hoping it will be back to normal again by the weekend because I've been happy with how I'm playing but you don't really want to be playing with an injury." Huddersfield's latest signing Danny Cadamarteri could make his second debut for the club. Cadamarteri left Town last summer and joined Dundee United, but this week returned to the Galpharm Stadium following his release by the Scottish club and will be included in the squad. Midfielder Joey Gudjonsson is expected to be fit after pulling up in the midweek win over Carlisle with a suspected hamstring injury, which could turn out to have been cramp. If Gudjonsson fails to make it, Scott Arfield or Antony Kay will stand in. Fellow midfielder Tom Clarke remains doubtful due to an ankle injury and Town will still be without leading goalscorer Jordan Rhodes (ankle), goalkeeper Alex Smithies (knee), midfielder Damien Johnson (knee) and defenders Tamas Kadar (hamstring) and Liam Ridehalgh (glandular fever).

Ruthless Terriers hammer Exeter Huddersfield boosted their automatic promotion hopes with a 4-1 victory at Exeter. Exeter, who rested a number of players with Monday`s Johnstone's Paint Trophy area final looming, dominated the first half but could not get the goal their play deserved. The Terriers opened the scoring after 55 minutes when a long ball forward was not dealt with by the Exeter defence and Danny Cadamarteri rolled the ball under Artur Krysiak and into the net. Cadamarteri then provided the assist for the second goal 12 minutes later, setting up Gary Roberts who fired home with his right foot from 12 yards out. A shocking error by Krysiak led to a soft third for the promotion-chasing Terriers, with Anthony Pilkington on.hand to slot home from close range 10 minutes from time. Exeter's misery was complete when Kevin Kilbane rattled in a fine shot from 25 yards two minutes from time before Daniel Nardiello netted a stoppage-time consolation from six yards out.
