Match Preview
Tisdale hopeful over injured quartet Manager Paul Tisdale is hoping Exeter's striking crisis will ease in time for Brentford's visit. The Grecians were without four forwards and it showed as they failed to score when they were beaten 2-0 by MK Dons at St James' Park on Saturday. Richard Logan, Daniel Nardiello and Guillem Bauza all failed late fitness tests on the Friday and John O'Flynn is still recovering from a knee operation. O'Flynn is the least likely to make it back in time for the game with the Bees but the other three will be monitored once again and Tisdale is hopeful one or more can play. Nicholas Bignall is ready to lead the line if the trio miss out and teenage striker Tom Nichols could be on the bench again. Sam Saunders and Charlie MacDonald are pushing for starts when Brentford travel to Exeter. Winger Saunders and striker MacDonald came on as half-time substitutes as the Bees lost 2-0 at Sheffield United on Saturday. Manager Uwe Rosler has an unchanged squad to choose from with just Toumani Diagouraga and Kirk Hudson in the treatment room. Midfielder Diagouraga has a knee injury which will keep him out until next month and winger Hudson is a long-term absentee with a hip problem. Defender Leon Legge returned from a calf strain to play 90 minutes at Bramall Lane and came through unscathed. Young midfielder Harry Forrester is still awaiting his debut after joining from Aston Villa earlier this month.

Match Report
Away-day joy for Uwe Uwe Rosler enjoyed his first away win as manager of Brentford as they beat Exeter 2-1. The Bees opened the scoring when Jonathan Douglas thumped a free-kick goalwards and it took a wicked deflection off James Dunne to leave Exeter goalkeeper Artur Krysiak stranded. They doubled the lead after 37 minutes when Niall McGinn crossed from the right and Clayton Donaldson was left with a simple header from six yards for his first Bees goal. Exeter came out with more purpose in the second half and reduced the arrears when half-time substitute Guillem Bauza scored from the spot after Leon Legge was adjudged to have fouled Tom Nichols in the penalty area. City piled on the pressure in search of an equaliser and Chris Shepherd came close with a long-range shot that whistled past the upright, but the Bees held on.
