Double comeback for Elgin
Graeme Beveridge and Ross O'Donoghue return to the Elgin squad for the visit of Queens Park.
Both players are fit again after injury but captain Paul Kaczan will remain on the sidelines with a groin problem.
Strikers Paul Millar and Brian Cameron are both expected to play despite nursing niggling injuries.
Ahead of the game Borough Briggs boss Ross Jack said: "We showed a never-say-die attitude to get a point against Clyde in midweek but if you look at Queens Park's recent results they are certainly showing that spirit as well.
"Our home record against them is pretty decent and hopefully we can keep that going with a win that brings us closer together in the table."
Elgin will be looking for revenge after a 6-0 drubbing at the hands of the Spiders in January.
Queens Park will be without striker Craig Smith.
Smith has a hamstring injury and will remain in Glasgow along with defender James Brough, who will be missing through work commitments.
Hampden head coach Gardner Speirs reckons that something will have to give in the clash.
He said: "Elgin are on a good run and we are on a good run, but good runs come to an end. Hopefully we will be the team that can say that their good run is continuing to next week.
"We played really well in the last game at our place but this is a very different game. Elgin have bounced back from that to become serious contenders for at least a play-off place."
Elgin pay penalty for spot failure
Elgin missed a 74th-minute penalty as they held second-placed Queens Park to a 1-1 draw.
The away side had won the reverse fixture 6-0 in January but had substitute goalkeeper Blair Lockhead to thank for a hard-fought away point.
Elgin took a ninth-minute lead as David Niven turned in Craig Gunn's left-wing cross for his second goal of the season.
The visitors got back on level terms nine minutes before the break as Michael Daly headed home David Murray's centre for his 10th goal of the season.
Stuart Leslie was then brought down in the penalty area and Queens Park keeper Neil Park was shown a second yellow card for his protests.
Lockhead came off the bench to be the hero, saving Jason Crooks' spot-kick.
