Elgin looking to bounce back
Elgin are again without captain Paul Kaczan through injury as they look to put last week's 6-0 drubbing by Queen's Park behind them by seeing off Berwick this weekend.
Steven Edwards also misses out, but Bryan Cameron and Blair Cameron are expected to return.
Borough Briggs boss Ross Jack said: "We have had to take the Queen's Park result on the chin and move on. We had a long discussion with the players at training on Tuesday night about it but all the focus since then has been on Berwick.
"We beat them 4-1 on the opening day and a repeat of that result would be very welcome. They have had a lift since Ian Little came in but we need a win to get back into things."
Berwick make the long trip north without on-loan Livingston winger Ross Gray, who has been ruled out after going down with an illness.
Defensive pair Chris McLeod and Elliot Smith are also missing through groin and knee injuries respectively.
Manager Little said: "In very simple terms this is a game we have to win to take advantage of the top four sides playing each other. We are still eyeing a play-off place and this is the type of game we have to win.
"We have had four 2-2 draws in five games so I would not bet against another open encounter in this one. We will attack them and they will attack us, but with a bit of luck we can outscore the opposition this time."
Millar time for Elgin
Two goals from Paul Millar helped Elgin to a 4-0 win and saw them leapfrog play-off rivals Berwick into fifth place.
Millar's close-range strike gave Elgin the lead after 35 minutes and that was doubled moments later when Archibald MacPhee found the top corner from distance.
The home side made it 3-0 early in the second half through Stuart Leslie, before Millar scored his second, converting Leslie's cross with a neat header.
Berwick's day got worse when Kevin McDonald was given a straight red card for a poor challenge on MacPhee on the hour mark.
Elgin peppered their opponents' goal for the remaining half hour but resilient goalkeeping from Jamie Barclay prevented further goals.
