McMullan back in City frame Elgin's left sided defender Paul McMullan should return to his side's starting line-up against visitors Annan. Work commitments kept McMullan out of Wednesday night's 2-2 draw with Clyde. Dennis Wyness' knee problem keeps him out and Lewis Halford's hamstring injury sees him remain on the sidelines with Ross O'Donoghue also unavailable due to family commitments. Borough Briggs boss Ross Jack is looking for a consistent 90-minute from his side. He said: "Parts of our game against Clyde were really good and the boys deserve praise and the opportunity to build on it. "Other parts were not as good as we lost a bad goal just before half-time when we should have been seeing things out but hopefully we can show what we have learned against Annan." Annan make the long trip north without Graeme Bell and Jack Steele who are struggling with groin injuries. Steven Sloan and Andrew Donley are doubtful due to knee knocks. The Galabank outfit are looking to build on a solid performance in last Saturday's 2-2 draw with a Queen's Park side that sit joint top with their hosts. Manager Harry Cairney said: "The players worked extremely well in that game and will need to again. Elgin are a very strong side, especially at home, so we have to put in the same hard shift that we did at Hampden to get anything." "We won up there towards the end of last season and a repeat of that would make a long journey very worthwhile."
