Jack: Victory is vital Elgin City have defender Paul Kaczan available in between suspensions for the visit of Albion Rovers. Borough Briggs boss Ross Jack is hoping that Jason Crooks and Jamie Duff can shake off knocks to be included for the must-win game. David Gormley is definitely ruled out with a hamstring problem, but Paul Miller is available after RAF duty with Jack saying: "We need a win, it is as simple as that. "We are no longer masters of our own destiny as far as a play-off place is concerned so all we can do is win and see if other things go in or favour. "We defeated Stranraer last weekend so we know we can beat the top sides and I am looking for a repeat against Albion Rovers." Albion Rovers have striking concerns ahead of the long trip north. John Gemmell and Iain Smith have been ruled out and Chris Boyle has dropped out of manager Paul Martin's plans because of university commitments. Goalkeeper Thomas Flynn is a doubt with a gashed knee, but Motherwell pair Steven Lawless and Peter Innes are available after injury while Steven Canning is back after suspension. Martin said: "This is simply a must-win game for us if we are to have any chance of winning the Third Division title. "We need to win to keep pressure on Arbroath and I would rather be going into it with a full attacking threat as opposed to a reduced one."

Albion miss chance to close gap Albion remain six points behind Scottish Division Three leaders Arbroath after drawing 1-1 with Elgin. The visitors took the lead in the 19th minute when Robert Love found the bottom corner with a low drive from just inside the area. A minute later, Jake Inglis nearly added another but his tremendous 25-yard effort went narrowly wide. However, the home side deservedly equalised in the 63rd minute as Craig Frizzel's cross found Craig Gunn, who headed home from six yards. The away side's cause was not helped six minutes later when Steven Canning was sent off for a second bookable offence. With a one-man advantage, the Badgers could have snatched all three points but Barry Wilson's left-footed drive was well saved by Derek Gaston.
