Match Preview

No new worries for the Fleet Ebbsfleet have no injury or suspension worries ahead of their FA Cup first-round replay against AFC Wimbledon. Defender Derek Duncan will return from a one-match ban, meaning Joe Howe, who deputised in his place for Saturday's 1-1 draw against Maidenhead, may have to make way. Midfielder Ashley Carew was sent off for a second bookable offence in the first clash between the sides and, although yet to serve his one-match ban, he will be available for manager Liam Daish. Forward Scott Ginty made his return from a long-standing hamstring problem to play three minutes as a substitute at the weekend and is likely to be named among the substitutes again. AFC Wimbledon manager Terry Brown will be without Lee Minshull and Chris Jolley. Minshull has managed only two substitute appearances since returning from eight weeks on the sidelines with knee ligament damage, but is facing a further six weeks out after breaking his toe in the 2-0 defeat against Barrow last weekend. Winger Jolley will sit out the last game of a three-match ban following his dismissal for a two-footed lunge on Craig Stone during the initial clash with Ebbsfleet which ended 0-0. Jon Main and Brett Johnson will return to an otherwise fully fit squad. The former had been suffering from a bout of illness, but will return to the squad to face the Fleet after missing the Barrow defeat, while the latter will also come back following eight weeks out with knee ligament damage. The Dons are looking to reach the FA Cup second round for the first time since their inception in 2002.

Match Report

Moore the hero for Dons Sammy Moore was AFC Wimbledon's saviour as he struck in the last minute of extra time to earn a 3-2 victory, end Ebbsfleet's FA Cup dreams and set up a second round tie against League Two side Stevenage. After the original tie ended 0-0 the draw set AFC Wimbledon on course for a potential meeting with MK Dons before Stevenage knocked the Milton Keynes outfit out of the cup on penalties. At 2-1 down Blue Square Premier Dons, formed in protest by fans after the move to Milton Keynes, looked to be heading out before Moore equalised in the last minute of stoppage time and grabbed the winner 30 minutes later. Mark Nwokeji gave the Dons the lead on eight minutes when he powered home a header after Rashid Yussuf cushioned Sam Hatton's cross into his path. The lead was extinguished in two minutes when Tom Phipp went down under Andre Blackman's faint challenge and Ashley Carew smashed home from 12 yards. A stronger Fleet penalty claim was refused when Hatton handled in the box but Carew picked up the rebound to fire the hosts ahead on 18 minutes. Blue Square South outfit Fleet appeared home and dry after weathering serious Dons pressure in the second half only for Moore to level in stoppage time before slotting home again with penalties looming.
