Tully suspended for Shire East Stirling host Montrose with centre-back Craig Tully missing through injury. Alex Walker will play despite a calf knock and captain Dean Richardson will undergo a fitness test on his groin injury before kick-off. The Shire ended a run of six straight defeats in midweek against Albion Rovers and that has given them confidence, according to assistant head coach David Nicholls. Jim McInally's right-hand man said: "Keeping a clean sheet in that game and playing some good football has given everyone at the club a real boost. "Hopefully that has got that poor run out of system and given us a platform to build on for the rest of the season as we want to finish as high up the table as possible." Montrose will be without the banned pair of Hugh Davidson and Terry Masson when they go looking for their first win in six games. Player-manager Steven Tweed is also a doubt because of a knock, but Fraser Milligan and Jonathan Crawford are available again after injury. Tweed knows that his side will have to add a clinical nature to their play if they are to emerge victorious. He said: "We have been playing well in games recently but we are just not getting over the finishing line in terms of scoring goals. "A win would move us three points away from East Stirling but it will only come about if we convert some of our fine outfield performances into goals at a much better rate than we have been."

Surprise win for Montrose Montrose ended a five-game winless run thanks to a 2-1 away victory at East Stirling. Both sides headed into the game at the wrong end of the table, but the home side scored first as Paul Weaver headed Ryan Wilkie's left-wing cross past Ramiro Gonazalez in the seventh minute. Montrose came back strongly, though, with both Paul Tosh and Ross McCord testing Michael Andrews. And Andrews again had to save smartly from Nicky Andrews on the half-hour mark. The visitors were rewarded for their pressure moments after the restart as Martin Boyle struck to deservedly level and then went ahead on the hour when Nicky Smith's right-foot shot beat Andrews. Steven McNalley almost extended Montrose`s lead but failed to keep his shot down, but East Stirling could not find a way back into the game and Montrose held firm.
