Quartet missing for Shire East Stirling are again without four defenders for the visit of Elgin. Stewart Beveridge, Craig Tully, Alex Walker and Craig Donaldson are all missing for the bottom side. Assistant head coach David Nicholls said: "We have told the players they must not accept finishing bottom of the Third Division. "They have the ability not to be there and hopefully they can show that in our closing games, starting against Elgin. "Finishing in last place will ruin everyone's summer holidays and hopefully we can gather enough points to avoid that happening." Elgin City welcome back Paul Kaczan from suspension for the trip. But goalkeeper John Calder, who has deputised for the injured Peter Donnelly recently, is out with a knee problem. Therefore Donnelly may be forced back into action earlier than expected, with 15-year-old Stuart Black on the bench as cover. Jamie Duff and Ross O'Donoghue have both been ruled out while Neil MacDonald, Allan Dempsie and Steven Edwards are major doubts, but there is a chance Mark Nicolson will be involved. Boss Ross Jack said: "We want to finish the season on a high but our resources are pretty thinly stretched."

Match Report

Stirling Dunn just enough David Dunn plundered the winner five minutes from time as East Stirling left it to late to defeat Elgin 2-1 at Ochilview Park. Elgin looked to be taking home a point until Dunn followed up on a loose ball to crash home the winner from 30 yards. His strike partner, Stephen Maguire, had put them ahead after 27 minutes. Derek Ure sent over a cross from left that Maguire steered into the bottom corner from 12 yards. Elgin hit back and were level before the break as Brian Cameron set up Jason Crooks for the 39th-minute equaliser. Stirling dominated in the second period and piled forward in search of the winner - which finally came when Dunn's stunning strike found the top corner.
