Shire without skipper
East Stirling captain Iain Chisholm will miss out as bottom take on top when leaders Annan visit Ochilview.
The Shire's resources are being stretched as Ryan Frances remains banned and Jordyn Sheerin continues to be out with an ankle problem, although Ally Love returns after a suspension.
Head coach John Coughlin said: "Annan have been the top side all season and are at the top of the table on merit and gave us a bit of a run-around in the game down at their place. But we feel we have improved since then and this will be a test of that.
"Everyone has been boosted by the point from Alloa last week and the performance put in to earn it so we can look forward to this game."
Annan are without defender Peter Watson for the game following his red card against Clyde in their last league outing three weeks ago.
Manager Harry Cairney could also be without goalkeeper Craig Summersgill, who has been unwell all week, Bryan Gilfillan, who has a knee injury, and Sean O'Connor (back).
Cairney has warned his side to take nothing for granted and said: "We have been struggling to score goals recently and it would be nice to put that right with a win at Ochilview.
"However, East Stirling's result at Alloa last week is warning enough they have improved. Bringing in Craig Winter on loan from Cowdenbeath has been a good move by them as he is a great organiser on the pitch."

Yet three minutes later Coyne made amends, stroking the ball home from 20 yards after collecting a pass from Craig Winter.
Annan looked to get back into the game in the second half but is was East Stirling who came closest to scoring when Kevin Turner's 20-yard shot was tipped over the bar by Summersgill late on.
"Will David Moyes be able to turn it around at Ma..."
