Match Preview
As you were for Fifers East Fife are at full strength for the visit of Forfar. The Fifers will be looking to move closer towards the Division Two promotion play-offs as opposed to being pulled closer to the sides beneath them in the table. Manager John Robertson thinks better results will come when his players start believing in their potential. "We have the makings of a very good side and can still have a successful season if the players build up some self-belief," he said. "I know that their potential is exciting and the fans believe in them as well and hopefully the players can take confidence from that. "We seem to get nervous when we get ahead in games and getting in front against Forfar and staying in front would be a great step forward." Forfar are hoping to end a frustrating spell where they have remained stuck near the foot of the table although they will have to do so without injured defender Jamie Bishop. The Loons also have doubts over doubts over Michael Bolochoweckyj and Nicky Low. Station Park assistant manager Ian Campbell said: "The management team reckon that we are ready to turn the corner and start moving up that, however it has been a case of one step forward and one step back due to a number of factors including postponed games." "It would be great to win at East Fife and then go on a run of a few wins so that we know that we can have an exciting end to the season."

Match Report
Four for Fife East Fife boosted their play-off hopes with a comfortable 4-0 win over Forfar at the Bayview Stadium. The hosts took the lead from the penalty spot after 11 minutes, Robert Sloan converting after Nicky Low brought down Steven Hislop. Sloan added his and The Fifer's second four minutes later with a superb 25-yard drive into the top-left corner. Victory was all but ensured just after the half-hour mark when Hislop rose highest to head home Sloan's cross. Ryan Wallace added his 13 of the season after 70 minutes, Sloan again the provider with a fine cross. Forfar, clearly unsettled by the first-half flurry failed to fashion any clear-cut chances and remain without a win in their last four outings.
