Match Preview
Hislop out for Fifers East Fife striker Steven Hislop will join defender Stevie Campbell on the sidelines for the crunch clash with Dumbarton. Hislop is the latest injury concern for John Robertson, although recent loan signing Matthew Park - a defender from Hearts - is in line for a start after making his debut as a substitute at the weekend. Robertson has asked for more of the same from his men after they picked up three points on Saturday at struggling Stenhousemuir. He said: "Now that we`ve moved off the bottom the plan is to keep moving away from there and a win over Dumbarton achieves that. "There is also the added advantage that Peterhead and Stenhousemuir are playing each other so something has to give up there, so it could turn into a really good night for us." Andy Geggan returns after suspension to bolster a Dumbarton midfield that is still missing the injured pair of Craig McLeish and Alan Cook. Sons boss Alan Adamson is looking to pick his players up after they lost an injury-time goal to Airdrie at the weekend that denied them a third successive win. East Fife claimed a 6-0 win on their last visit to New Bayview, and Adamson said: "The boys put a lot into the game on Saturday and it looked like we were heading to 22 points and a wee gap over some teams, until we lost that late goal. "Hopefully our youngsters have learnt from it."

Match Report
Dumbarton claim crucial win Dumbarton eased their relegation worries with a 3-1 win at fellow strugglers East Fife. The Sons took the lead after 17 minutes, Annan loanee Patrick Walker scoring his sixth goal in 10 games from 20 yards. It was 2-0 six minutes later as on-loan Alloa man Mark Gilhaney netted his fifth of the season from 12 yards. Matthew Park, making his first start for the club, pulled one back for the Fifers one minute before half-time from inside the box. But the away side restored their two-goal advantage 10 minutes after the break when Andrew Geggan converted from Walker's cross. East Fife could have set up a frantic finish but Dumbarton goalkeeper Stephen Grindley saved Robert Linn's late penalty.
