Return of the Mack East Fife welcome back Darren McCormack against Brechin following suspension and Ryan Wallace should return after an ankle injury. But manager John Robertson's squad may still not be at full strength. David Muir and Craig Johnstone will have to pass Saturday morning fitness tests before Robertson can include them as they bid to pull five points clear of their visitors. Robertson said: "This is a massive game for Brechin and for us in terms of moving into the top half of the league. "We lost to Stenhousemuir last week but we played well and I have to hope the players learned a hard lesson about not converting their chances and being punished for it. "If we are on top of Brechin we have to go ahead." Experienced Brechin midfielder Charlie King is a major doubt for the game after picking up a knock in training on Thursday night. The Glebe Park skipper will need to pass a late fitness check to be included. Manager Jim Weir has already ruled out Gerry McLachlan and Derek Carcary through injury for a game he wants to go ahead to stop his side facing a fixture pile-up. Weir explained: "I do not want us facing two games a week for the last couple of months of the season as we did last year as it catches up with you at a vital time. "It would be great to get this game on and get a win."
