Match Preview
Femi starts Daggers ban Dagenham will be without Oluwafemi Ilesanmi for the visit of Sheffield Wednesday. The left-back was dismissed in the last minute of the midweek draw at Leyton Orient for bringing down substitute Paul-Jose Mpoku for a penalty. The club lodged an appeal with the FA which failed, so he now begins a two-match ban. However, first-choice full-back Damien McCrory is back in training after two games out with a twisted ankle so he should come back in. Winger Damian Scannell is out after he pulled his hamstring in the dying stages of the 2-1 win over Charlton last weekend, while Oliver Lee - son of former England midfielder Robert - could be included after he signed on-loan from West Ham. Striker John Akinde is back in training after a long-term groin problem but is not yet ready to make his Daggers debut. Sheffield Wednesday's latest loan signings Joey O'Brien and Lee Nicholls are expected to go straight into the squad. Bolton midfielder O'Brien and Wigan's teenage goalkeeper Nicholls will stay at Hillsborough until the end of the season. O'Brien could make manager Gary Megson's starting line-up after teaming back up with the former Bolton boss but goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell, who made his first appearance of the season last week, is expected to retain his place in the absence of Nicky Weaver (groin). Midfielder Isaiah Osbourne, on loan from Aston Villa, should start again despite being forced off at Southampton with a hamstring strain. Defender Lewis Buxton returned to the bench as an unused substitute last Saturday following a long-term groin injury and is pushing for a return to the starting line-up as the Owls look to halt a run of three straight defeats.

Match Report
Green spot on for Daggers Danny Green's controversial penalty earned Dagenham a point in a 1-1 draw against Sheffield Wednesday which extended their unbeaten run to six games. The Owls made the breakthrough 17 minutes into a scrappy first half when Michael Morrison's long throw was glanced on by Gary Teale and the ball crept agonisingly past goalkeeper Tony Roberts. The home side were denied an equaliser on the stroke of half-time, with Jon Nurse penalised for a foul on goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell as the pair contested Damien McCrory's deep cross and the ball bounced in off the forward. Daggers had the first sniff at goal after the break, with Nurse's goalbound header comfortably stopped by O'Donnell. The home side were level after 79 minutes when referee Steve Rushton controversially awarded a penalty against Darren Potter, who was adjudged to have blocked Darren Currie's cross with his hand. Green made no mistake from the spot. Wednesday responded immediately, with Potter's fierce low drive forcing a fine save from veteran keeper Roberts. With three minutes remaining, Tommy Miller's effort was blocked by Romain Vincelot from point-blank range as Daggers held on for a point.
