No changes for Daggers Dagenham are set to be unchanged for the relegation showdown with managerless Notts County. Boss John Still saw his side beaten at home by in-form Peterborough on Tuesday night but will keep faith with the XI as he looks for a win which would see his side leapfrog County and push them into the relegation zone. On-loan Bristol City striker John Akinde made his first start for the club against the Posh and will keep his place after finally shaking off a long-term groin issue. Midfielder Solomon Taiwo is two weeks away from being available again following his ankle injury picked up at Swindon a month ago, so Peter Gain will continue to partner Romain Vincelot in the centre. Ricky Ravenhill is suspended for Notts County. The midfielder became the latest Magpies player to incur a ban when he collected his 10th yellow card of the season during the home defeat to Rochdale on Tuesday night, meaning he begins a two-match absence. Mike Edwards will serve the second game of a two-match suspension following his red card against Oldham but fellow defender Jon Harley is available again after completing a ban of his own against Rochdale. Alan Judge could be back in the squad after two-and-a-half months on the sidelines with a broken metatarsal but fellow midfielder David Martin is a doubt with an ankle injury. Head scout Carl Heggs will remain in charge for the trip to London following the departure of Paul Ince.

Match Report

Green at the double Danny Green bagged a brace as Dagenham climbed out of the bottom four at Notts County's expense with a 3-1 win. John Akinde put the hosts in front after 16 minutes when he volleyed home Green's first-time cross from close range to claim his first goal for the club. Lee Hughes struck the crossbar from the edge of the box midway through the first half as County pushed for an equaliser, but the game swung firmly in Dagenham's way with half-time approaching. Jon Nurse was through on goal when he was dragged down on the edge of the box by last-man Graeme Lee and the defender received a straight red card. From the resulting free-kick Green doubled his side's lead, and County's misery was compounded on the stoke of half-time when John Spicer conceded a penalty for a foul on Akinde and Green kept his cool to score from 12 yards. The visitors notched a consolation when substitute Njogu Demba-Nyren headed home Spicer's corner but County stumbled to their seventh straight defeat.
