Match Preview

Daggers duo still missing Dagenham & Redbridge manager John Still will be without Tony Roberts and Scott Doe for the FA Cup visit of Leyton Orient. Goalkeeper Roberts missed just his 11th game since Still took over in April 2004 at Southampton in midweek with an ankle injury and will again sit out. That will see Chris Lewington continue between the posts while defender Doe limped off at St Mary`s with ankle ligament damage. Fortunately Will Antwi has now recovered from a hamstring injury and can slot in while former Arsenal right-back Abu Ogogo is also fit after a hamstring problem of his own. Teenage Icelandic midfielder Victor Palsson will be in the squad after he signed on loan from Liverpool. Still`s side are without a win in six games but have already beaten Orient at home this season. Leyton Orient will check on Alex Revell and Stephen Dawson ahead of the short trip. Striker Revell, who hit his fifth and sixth goals of the season in Tuesday's 3-2 defeat at Colchester, is expected to shrug off the ankle knock he suffered at the Community Stadium. Captain Dawson has also been struggling with an ankle problem, but having been left on the bench in midweek the midfielder hopes to be fully fit. The O's could also be boosted by the return of veteran frontman Scott McGleish from a rib injury, while Tottenham loanee Paul-Jose M'Poku is close to recovering from a hamstring problem. Goalkeeper Lee Butcher is expected to keep his place despite the return to fitness of Jamie Jones following a groin injury.

Match Report

All square in East End Neighbours Dagenham and Leyton Orient will meet again in an FA Cup replay after a full-blooded London derby ended in a draw. The game swung from end to end like a pendulum in the frenetic opening exchanges with Jonathan Tehoue nodding wide from a corner and Danny Green tormenting his marker at the other end. The powerful Frenchman was instrumental in Orient taking the lead after 45 minutes when he was challenged by Romain Vincelot in the area and the ball fortuitously looped into the path of the on-rushing Alex Revell, who slotted past Chris Lewington in front of the large travelling support. As Daggers boss John Still prepared a motivational half-time team talk, his side unexpectedly levelled in the second minute of injury time. Green's free-kick, from towards the left-hand touchline, swung invitingly towards the near post and eluded everyone while keeper Lee Butcher could not claw it out from behind his line. Chances were at a premium in the second half, but Daggers had Lewington to thank for earning a replay after his point-blank save denied Dean Cox seven minutes from time.
