No go for Agogo Abu Ogogo is suspended for Dagenham & Redbridge`s Boxing Day encounter at home to Barnet. The midfielder was given his marching orders during last weekend`s 1-1 draw at Burton and now starts a three-match ban which rules him out over the festive period, with Billy Bingham likely to step in. Otherwise, manager John Still is unlikely to make many, if any, changes to a Daggers side who have started to show signs of revival in their last two matches with the impressive point at the Pirelli Stadium following FA Cup success at Walsall. Luke Howell (knee), Rob Edmans (broken leg) and Sam Williams (knee) continue to miss out, although influential defender Mark Arber is back in training following his double hernia operation and could make the bench against his former club, kick-off 1pm. There are also reunions for Still, who formerly managed Barnet, and Bees defender Anwar Uddin who captained the Daggers to two promotions during a six-year spell at Victoria Road. Barnet manager Lawrie Sanchez will be without the services of midfielder Clovis Kamdjo. Kamdjo will serve a one-match ban after picking up his fifth booking of the season in the 2-2 draw with Cheltenham. Otherwise, Sanchez has no new injuries to contend with and the only player on the sidelines is striker Steve Kabba, who is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury. Defender Michael Hector overcame a shin injury to play the full 90 minutes against Cheltenham, while Jack Saville and Charlie Taylor are also available for selection after overcoming injuries. The Bees have gone four matches in all competitions without a win and are only six points clear of the relegation zone.

Match Report

Montano double lifts Daggers Two goals from Cristian Montano helped Dagenham & Redbridge earn a first win in 11 matches and climb off the bottom of League Two. Daggers stormed ahead in the 14th minute when Montano exchanged passes with Josh Scott and unleashed a fierce drive past Barnet goalkeeper Dean Brill from 20 yards. Barnet created a number of opportunities to equalise, but Izale McLeod, Sam Deering and Alassane N'Diaye all shot wide. On the stroke of half-time Daggers doubled their lead. Kevin Maher's chip into the box was flicked on by Brian Woodall into the path of Montano, who blasted into the top corner. Daggers came close again in the 59th minute when Dominic Green's 25-yard strike bounced back off the crossbar before Woodall wrapped up the points in the 63rd minute when his diving header from Montano's right-wing cross nestled into the bottom corner. Barnet continued to press forward late on, but McLeod's shot was smothered away by Daggers goalkeeper Chris Lewington and substitute Charlie Taylor headed over N'Diaye's cross from close range.
