Trio banned for Brawley Crawley brawlers Pablo Mills, Claude Davis and Kyle McFadzean will miss the visit of Crewe. The defensive trio are all suspended for their part in the punch-up at the end of last week's 2-1 win at Bradford. Mills, who has been stripped of the captaincy, is in the middle of a three-game ban which could yet be extended by the FA while Davis serves the second of a four-match suspension. They were red-carded at Valley Parade while McFadzean starts a three-match ban after the FA subsequently charged him with violent conduct. Lloyd James is fit after a rib injury but fellow right-back David Hunt is still out with a broken foot. Left-back Warren Cummings has extended his loan deal from Bournemouth until the end of the season. Harry Davis is Crewe's only remaining injury doubt. Davis is nursing severe bruising to his thigh and returned to training earlier this week, only to be withdrawn as a precaution later on. Fellow defender Matt Tootle is set to return from a thigh strain, while young striker Max Clayton is also available once more after overcoming the effects of a foot infection. Railwaymen boss Steve Davis believes defensive solidity will be key to success against the promotion-chasing Red Devils as his side enter the Easter fixtures three points shy of the the npower League Two play-off places. "If we can remain strong at the back then we have quality players in our team to score goals," he told Alex's official website. "We can open teams up and create chances and we will be going to Crawley looking to win the game. There is no reason why we can't."
