Duo absence hurts Town Leaders Crawley will be without defensive duo Claude Davis and David Hunt through suspension for the visit of Barnet. Centre-half Davis serves a one-match ban after he was sent off in the 2-1 defeat by Gillingham on Boxing Day and right-back Hunt also sits out against the Bees for collecting his fifth booking of the season. Kyle McFadzean, who started in midfield against the Gills, is likely to step back into defence while boss Steve Evans has recalled Glenn Wilson from his loan spell at Fleetwood Town to provide further cover. Midfielder Ben Smith is also back at the Broadfield Stadium following the end of his loan spell with Woking and he will be added to the squad. Clovis Kamdjo returns to the Barnet squad. The midfielder was suspended for the 3-0 Boxing Day defeat by Dagenham after collecting a fifth booking of the season and was replaced by Alassane N'Diaye. On-loan defenders Michael Hector and Paul Downing have extended their stints with the club while full-back Gary Borrowdale will play the final match of his current spell on loan from QPR. Striker Steve Kabba is still missing with a long-term knee injury. Crawley grateful to Barnett Tyrone Barnett's early goal ensured leaders Crawley bounced back from their Boxing Day defeat at home to Gillingham with a 1-0 victory over struggling Barnet, who were condemned to their third defeat in four league matches. Former Macclesfield striker Barnett gave Crawley the perfect start by firing them ahead from 16 yards in only the third minute after Kyle McFadzean mis-kicked a corner by Scott Neilson. Defender Dean Howell almost doubled the advantage three minutes later with a tremendous left-footed 30-yard drive which cannoned back off the crossbar. Barnet striker Izale McLeod missed a sharp chance when well placed just before the break after Mark Marshall's cross was headed on by skipper Mark Hughes. Visiting goalkeeper Dean Brill parried a goal-bound shot from Matt Tubbs as Crawley threatened immediately after the break. Brill saved a header from skipper Pablo Mills and Barnett saw a deflected 30-yard shot go wide as Crawley looked to extend their advantage. Barnet almost snatched a point, but Scott Shearer saved well from top scorer McLeod.
