Match Preview
Cameron set to boost Beath Cowdenbeath player/assistant manager Colin Cameron is set to return from injury for their First Division play-off semi-final second leg against Brechin. The experienced former Scotland international missed the 2-2 draw in the first leg with a knock having originally been available following suspension. David Hay is expected to be recalled between the sticks as Ludovic Roy is struggling with an injury but Bob Malcolm, Joe Mbu and Dene Droudge along with full-back Richie Vauls continue to miss out with knocks. Boss Jimmy Nicholl said: "One good thing is we now know a lot more about Brechin than we did going into the first leg. "Our boys did well in the first half to open up a two-goal gap and I will be reminding them of that as most of the attention has been focused on Brechin's fightback." Brechin have only long-term injured midfielder Charlie King unavailable. Manager Jim Weir is looking to build on a fine second-half showing in midweek when his side came from 2-0 down. Weir said: "We have to play for the full game this time as we did not get going in the first leg until we were two goals down. "We changed things about a bit at half-time and got the lift with a goal really early in the second period. "By the final whistle I was disappointed we are not going down to Fife with a lead. "Despite a very good second half from us, I recognise Cowdenbeath are still very much the favourites but at least we have a lot to play for."

Match Report
City seal final spot Brechin moved into the First Division Play-Off final with a 4-2 aggregate victory over Cowdenbeath following a 2-0 win. Late goals from James Redman and Craig Molloy saw the visitors advance comfortably and relegate Cowdenbeath in the process. Brechin almost opened the scoring after 66 minutes but Molloy fired Jordan Kirkpatrick's corner against the bar from 12 yards. Steven Crawford could have given Cowdenbeath the lead but he fired over from 12 yards and the opener came after 77 minutes when Redman finished from six yards. The home side pushed for an equaliser but Craig Nelson was alert to keep out Mark Ramsay's six-yard header. Molloy ended any hope of a Cowdenbeath comeback when he made it 2-0 six minutes from time from close range to wrap up the game.
