Match Preview

Campbell comeback is on Montrose welcome back defender Alan Campbell to their squad after a groin injury and he looks set to take the place of Paul Lunan, who is unavailable through work commitments, against Peterhead. Winger David Di Milta is available after a bout of flu, but Stephen McNally is a major doubt for the Gable Endies. Manager Ray Farningham said: "Peterhead will be on a high after winning at home for the first time this year and they will be out to build on that instantly. We have beaten them before and can take confidence from that." "Whatever happens I want the Montrose players to go out and give it a real go. That is the approach we used at Annan recently and we were unlucky to lose 2-1." Peterhead have doubts over midfield pair Paul Watson and Barry Sellars as they look to win two games in a row for the first time this season. Balmoor manager Jim McInally is tempted to include striker Martin Bavidge from the start against the Links Park side, despite their midweek success over Berwick Rangers. The Balmoor boss said: "Martin came on and did really well in the game and, whilst I would not want to change a winning team, he has given me a lot to think about. "If we can win this one then I am hoping that we have finally given ourselves a platform to start putting some wins together and start climbing the table."

Match Report

Neill strike earns draw John Neill's fourth goal of the season earned Clyde a point in a 1-1 home draw against promotion-chasing Stranraer. The visitors came into the game on the back of three straight league victories and looked likely to extend their good run when they went ahead through Martin Grehan's header after 18 minutes, the Partick loanee converting Stephen Stirling's corner. Jim Duffy's side were back on level terms 10 minutes later when Neill swept home John Sweeney's right-wing cross. Sean Winter and Frank McKeown both spurned good second-half opportunities for Stranraer before Sweeney almost earned the Bully Wee all three points with a right-footed free-kick on the hour mark which drew a great save from visiting goalkeeper Ryan Marshall.
