Charlie set for Clyde bow
Clyde have received international clearance for experienced midfielder Charlie Miller and he is added to manager Jim Duffy's pool for the visit of second-top Stranraer.
Not such good news for Duffy is the continued absence through injury of Alan Lithgow, Paul McMullan and Willie Sawyers, with John Sweeney also out following his dismissal against Albion in midweek.
Duffy is looking for an improvement following the 1-0 defeat on Tuesday, and said: "We never really got going and it was a flat performance.
"However, one thing I will praise the boys for is their attitude as it has been first class ever since I got here. We are still gelling as a team and hopefully we will give Stranraer a really tough game."
Stranraer youngster Angus Cochrane looks set to keep his starting place after the 17-year-old enjoyed a fine debut in midweek.
Romauld Bouadji and Steven Noble remain sidelined for the Stair Park men through injury, with manager Keith Knox recognising that re-cast Clyde will prove troublesome opponents.
Knox said: "Clyde may well be bottom of the league but they have strengthened their pool recently but as I have told the players it is what Stranraer do that matters."
He added: "It is great that a local lad like Angus has progressed through the youth development programme at the club and he has given me plenty to think about after a fine performance in midweek."
Clyde shock high-flying Blues
Scotland's bottom side Clyde showed remarkable character as they beat Stranraer 4-2 at Broadwood.
The Bully Wee were behind after just six minutes when Craig Malcolm fired home his 18th goal of the season from close range.
They hit back quickly, though, restoring parity five minutes later through Marc McCusker's cool finish.
Picking up where they left off, Clyde showed plenty of endeavour after the interval and took the lead in the 55th minute when McCusker netted from the spot after John Stewart was fouled by Paul Murphy, who was sent off for the challenge.
Despite the disadvantage, Armand One was on hand to level things up for Stranraer, heading home Angus Cochrane's cross.
The end-to-end nature of the game continued and the Bully Wee took the lead in the 67th minute when Patrick Scuillion fired home before Richard Waddell's header wrapped up the points.
