Match Preview

McCoist warns Gers against complacency Manager Ally McCoist will come down "like a tonne of bricks" on any player who believes Rangers do not have to win on the road to claim the Irn-Bru Third Division title. The Light Blues have yet to win a single league game away from home this season as they prepare to travel to Clyde on Sunday seeking to rectify that record. Despite such poor form away from Ibrox, Rangers still managed to move top of the table with a victory over Queen's Park last week. Their new status as league-leaders suggests home results could be enough to secure the silverware come the end of the campaign regardless of their inability to produce the goods in less salubrious surroundings. But such an attitude is one McCoist would be unwilling to tolerate within his dressing room. He said: "That's unacceptable. There is a balance because the priority is to get out of the division and that has been the case from the word go. I would look upon that [attitude] as a form of complacency and we can't afford to be complacent. "If I saw any thoughts or ideas amongst any of the players thinking that we don't need to win the away games because we are doing all right anyway, believe me, I would be down on them like a tonne of bricks. "But I don't think it would happen, I don't think that's the case." Rangers have no fresh injury worries ahead of the game at Broadwood. David Templeton (ankle ligament damage), Kane Hemmings (knee) and Francisco Sandaza (fractured cheekbone) remain on the sidelines but are making progress in their recoveries. Clyde will be without suspended defender Ian Gray after his red card against Berwick last Saturday. Bully Wee boss Jim Duffy is hoping the Sunday kick-off will help bolster his squad with David Marsh and Steven Masterton struggling due to groin problems and Pat Scullion (calf) also a doubt. Duffy said: "These players would not have made it for a Saturday kick-off but being on the Sunday gives them a chance. Whatever team we put out I am looking forward to seeing how our players get on. "It is a great experience for them to play in front of a packed crowd and it may well inspire them to put in never to be forgotten performances."
