Match Preview
Hay suspended for Spiders visit Clyde captain Paul Hay will miss out against local rivals Queen's Park. The Bully Wee are looking to end a run of five successive defeats from the Spiders but they will be without Hay, who is banned. Gavin Brown and Declan Gallacher will both be unavailable due to injury, while Broadwood boss Jim Duffy admitted to being a fan of Queen's Park - despite being on the wrong side of results during his time as Clyde manager. "Queen's Park are a well organised side that pass the ball well and attack with pace but the gap between us has been closing in the games," said Duffy. "We lost 3-0 at Hampden in the middle of December and things would have been very different if we had taken some of the chances we created." Martin McBride is a major doubt for Queen's Park. The defender is struggling with a calf injury as his side look to make it three consecutive wins with their third success of the season over Clyde. The Spiders will miss Darryl Meggatt due to a family commitment, while Michael O'Hara, Steven Baillie, Tony Quinn and Giuseppe Capuano continue to be absent through injury. Youngster Owen Ronald, son of former Clyde and Queen's Park player Paul, keeps his place in the Hampden squad. Head coach Gardner Speirs said: "We have a good recent record against Clyde but I am not interested in that. The games have all been extremely competitive and my aim is to start 2012 the same way we ended 2011 and that is with a win."

Match Report
Three in a row for Queens Park Queens Park made it three league wins on the bounce with a 2-1 victory over 10-man Clyde. The visitors went ahead after only five minutes when David Anderson crossed for Jamie Longworth to slot home from close range for his seventh goal of the season. John Sweeney was dismissed for the hosts in the closing stages of the first half for violent conduct but they still managed to level the scores before the interval, Jordan White turning home Chris Irvime's right-wing delivery. The 10 men held out for most of the second half but the Spiders grabbed a winner 13 minutes from time when David Murray crossed for substitute Michael Daly to head into the bottom corner.
