Duo still missing for Clyde Clyde defenders Alan Lithgow and Ally Park are once again expected to miss out through injury against Montrose, with midfielder Paul McMullan also sidelined with a knock. Striker Marc McCusker could join them after suffering a hamstring injury in the 1-0 defeat to Annan at the weekend. Victory for Jim Duffy's men would pull them to within three points of the Gable Endies with three games in hand. But Duffy is more interested in performance than points, saying: "My only target since coming here was to make Clyde a competitive team on the park." He added: "We need to do better in the final third as we missed a wee creative spark on Saturday and hopefully we can get that against Montrose." Gordon Pope is again expected to be missing from the Montrose defence as he struggles to shake off an injury. The Gable Endies are looking to build on their first win in six games - a 1-0 win against Elgin at the weekend. The Links Park side can move above East Stirling in the table and create a six-point gap on their hosts with a win, and interim manager Ray Farningham said: "We converted one of our chances against Elgin and then kept them out. "That was a very encouraging sign as we`ve been struggling to score recently and have been making mistakes at the back. "It will be a tough test at Broadwood but hopefully we can use the Elgin game as inspiration to get another win."

Thompson leveller foils Clyde Ten-man Clyde and Montrose could not be separated at the Broadwood Stadium as they fought out a 1-1 draw. William Sawyers and Kevin Finlayson were denied by smart saves from Montrose goalkeeper Ramiro Gonzalez as they dominated proceedings in the first half. Clyde defender Gavin Brown was dismissed in the 58th minute for violent conduct but neither side created any further chances until the 83rd minute when the home side were awarded a penalty. Marc McCusker picked himself up after being fouled inside the area by Alan Cambell and although his penalty was palmed away by Gonzalez, Patrick Scullion netted the rebound. However, Connor Thompson earned his side a point when he equalised less than a minute later, converting Steven McNalley`s pass from close range.
