Duo boost Clyde Clyde have been boosted by the news that Ryan Kane and Gavin Brown could return from injury against promotion-seeking Elgin at Broadwood. Jason Marr should also make the game despite being ill after Tuesday night's 3-0 defeat by Queen's Park, however, skipper Paul Hay remains out through injury as does Kieran Brannan, Kris Irvine and Daniel Fitzpatrick. Bully Wee boss Jim Duffy said: "Things are looking a bit healthier although we are still short of bodies. "We have competed well against Elgin this season and we have both won a game each with the other one drawn. "We need to compete well again and try and get a win that will set us up nicely for a positive run towards the end of the season." Elgin have defensive problems for their match at Clyde. The defensive trio of Mark Durnan, Jamie Duff and David Niven will all be missing through suspension. Borough Briggs boss Ross Jack has other concerns as well, as injuries have ruled out Paul Kaczan, Ross O'Donoghue, Grant Innes and Stuart Leslie, with Paul Millar and Brian Cameron both struggling to make it. Jack reckons opposite number Jim Duffy may change his tactics as a result and said: "Clyde normally play with two up front but Jim may go for more when he learns how short we are at the back. "I am not sure yet what team I will field but I will maybe just overload mine with strikers to try and keep Clyde busy at the other end."
