Finlayson missing for Bully Wee Winger Kevin Finlayson is suspended for Clyde's top-versus-bottom clash with Arbroath. It's an added blow for manager Jim Duffy, whose options are already restricted as Alan Lithgow, Ally Park, Paul McMullan and Gavin Brown remain out, while Neil McGowan is also a doubt. The Bully Wee took a point from promotion-chasing Albion on Saturday and Duffy is hoping that his men use that as inspiration as they look to move off the foot of the table. Duffy said: "I was pleased with how the boys battled on Saturday and if we do that again against Arbroath I am sure we will do well. "It may well be the leading team visiting us but it is a game I am looking forward to." Arbroath still have defensive concerns for the trip. Alan Rattray, Kieran McAnespie and Stuart Malcolm all miss out again through injury, while Danny Griffin is also doubt. But player-manager Paul Sheerin is ready to start after shaking off the heavy cold that saw him restricted to a substitute's role at East Stirling on Saturday. A win for the Red Lichties would move them seven points clear of the chasing pack and Sheerin has urged his side to show they mean business. He said: "We are at a stage in the season where we have to be taking care of business - we can convert a game in hand into points and strike a real blow. "It will be tough as they will be boosted by their point on Saturday but we have to show that we are serious."

Arbroath foiled by Clyde Ten-man Arbroath blew the chance to extend their lead over Albion at the top of Division Three to eight points after being held to a 1-1 draw by bottom club Clyde. The visitors finally broke the deadlock on the hour mark when Josh Falkingham turned home Gavin Swankie's left-wing cross from close range. However, Clyde equalised just 10 minutes later when substitute William Sawyers nodded Marc McCusker's header back across goal beyond Arbroath keeper Darren Hill. The home side, who have only won three league games this season, could have snatched an unlikely victory in the 78th minute when McCusker raced clear of the opposition defence only to be hauled down by Darren Thomson, who received a straight red card for his professional foul.
