Clyde Director of Football Neil Watt has a number of injury concerns ahead of his first game in temporary charge of first team affairs against Annan. Watt, who stepped in to take charge of the Bully Wee following the dismissal of Stuart Millar earlier this week, will be without striker Willie Sawyers (knee) and recent signing Paul McMullan (broken ankle). Another striker, Marc McCusker, is also doubtful with a hamstring problem. However, Captain Ross McMillan returns to the Cumbernauld side's defence after injury, while Kevin Finlayson is also available and John Sweeney returns from suspension. Watt said: "It has not been an easy week but we will just get on with things and be ready for the visit of Annan." Craig Summersgill is Annan's only doubt for the trip. First choice goalkeeper Summersgill is still not fully over a bout of flu that kept him out against Queen's Park in midweek. Boss Harry Cairney has no other injury or suspension worries to contend with. However, Cairney is wary of facing the Bully Wee so soon after head coach Stuart Millar left his post, saying: "Their Director of Football Neil Watt stepped in to manage Clyde last season and quickly had them playing some really good football so we need to be ready to impress. "I also want us to bounce back from a disappointing defeat to Queen's Park in midweek. "A win opens up a gap on the teams below us that are chasing a play-off place."

More misery for Clyde Annan condemned bottom club Clyde to another defeat with a 2-0 win at Broadwood. Sean O'Connor gave the visitors the lead with a shot from six yards after 20 minutes. O'Connor came close to a second only two minutes later when John Hutchison could only parry his 20-yard strike. Ian Harty did make it 2-0 after 73 minutes with a left-footed effort from the edge of the area into the bottom right of the goal. Clyde created very few chances and looked very much the team who are rooted to the bottom on just six points and still without a home win. Annan remain fifth, three points off the play-offs with games in hand on all of the teams above them.
