Spencer banned for Robins
James Spencer will miss Cheltenham's clash with Plymouth through suspension.
The on-loan striker, who has been in fine form for the Robins in recent weeks, picked up his fifth booking of the season during the 1-0 home defeat to Crewe in midweek and serves a one-match ban for the visit of the Pilgrims.
Otherwise, manager Mark Yates has no new injury concerns.
Goalkeeper Jack Butland has recovered from a dead leg sustained in the win at Accrington on October 21, while striker Theo Lewis is available after overcoming an injury sustained in a reserve-team game.
Meanwhile, Cheltenham are in negotiations with Everton regarding the potential extension of Luke Garbutt's loan stay at the club.
The full-back joined on a month-long deal in September and the match against Plymouth would be his final appearance for the Robins under the terms of the current arrangement.
Striker Warren Feeney and winger Luke Daley are fighting to be fit for Plymouth.
Both players missed the 5-1 loss to Oxford on Tuesday through injury but caretaker manager Carl Fletcher is hopeful the pair will be available against the Robins.
Fletcher, who has not featured in a playing capacity during his temporary spell in charge at Home Park, was among the substitutes on Tuesday and may include himself in the matchday 16 once again while Conor Hourihane returns from a one-match ban.
However, midfielder Will Atkinson is suspended after collecting his fifth yellow card of the season in the heavy defeat at the Kassam Stadium.
Defender Onismor Bhasera came off the bench for a 20-minute cameo against Oxford and is pushing for a return to the starting line-up.
Robins leave it late
Cheltenham came from behind to sting ten-man Plymouth 2-1 courtesy of two late goals from Darryl Duffy.
The Football League`s bottom club led for most of the match thanks to a first-half own goal from Steve Elliott before Duffy had the final say, the first coming from the penalty spot and the second in the 93rd minute after Jamie Griffiths had seen red.
After a tight opening, Argyle broke the deadlock against the run of play with a bizarre own goal midway through the first half.
On-loan Birmingham goalkeeper Jack Butland was guilty of a huge blunder, flapping at Jared Sims' looping header and only diverting the ball into the net via the leg of defender Elliott.
Plymouth nearly extended their lead 12 minutes from time when substitute Isaac Vassell forced Butland to tip spectacularly onto the crossbar.
But the Robins continued to press and finally equalised through Duffy's spot-kick, awarded after Curtis Nelson brought down Elliott from behind.
Worse followed for Argyle when striker Griffiths received a straight red card for a dangerous challenge on Luke Garbutt, before Duffy fired home a close range 93rd-minute winner following a corner.
