Match Preview

No worries for the Robins Mark Yates has a fully-fit and suspension-free squad at his disposal as he looks to secure Cheltenham's place in the npower League Two play-offs with victory over Bradford. A win will guarantee the Robins a top-seven berth, providing either Oxford of Crewe drop points in their respective fixtures, and the Whaddon Road outfit have been boosted in their preparations for the visit of the Bantams by the return to training of defender Alan Bennett. Bennett was left out of the side that lost 1-0 to Crewe last week because of a groin injury, but the move was only precautionary and he is expected to return to the starting XI this weekend. A virus briefly swept through the Cheltenham camp during the week, but everyone is now fit and ready to face Bradford. Bradford defender Andrew Davies returns to contention following a five-game suspension. Davies, on loan from Stoke, received the ban for his involvement in the post-match brawl with AFC Wimbledon in March and manager Phil Parkinson must decide whether to break-up the partnership of Guy Branston and player-of-the-year Luke Oliver in central defence. Midfielder Kyel Reid is expected to be included in the starting line-up despite limping out of last week's win over Macclesfield with a dead-leg. But striker Chris Dagnall, on loan from Scunthorpe, is still sidelined with a back problem. Ritchie Jones overcame a hip injury to last the full 90 minutes last week, while fellow midfielders David Syers and Lee Bullock are pushing for recalls. Parkinson hinted at including youth team players Adam Baker, Forryah Bass and Louie Swain in his travelling party after the Bantams guaranteed their npower League Two safety with last week's 1-0 win.
