Kalou latches onto a long pass, keeping it from going out for a goal kick. He plays the ball back before a long pass to Joe Cole on the right is over hit and Fenerbahce win possession.

Fenerbahce put together a good spell of possession but the final pass, a long cross-field ball aimed at Colin Kazim-Richards, is a little too strong goes out of play

A free-kick just inside the Chelsea half was floated onto the head of de Souza Deivid who attempted to knock the ball down and across the area but it was over-hit and the ball goes out of play

Fenerbahce are chasing shadows at the moment as Drogba pulls out to the Chelsea left after a long spell of possession and fires in a low cross that is cleared

That early goal has given Chelsea licence to be patient and, that Joe Cole shot aside, they appear happy to build slowly from the back

Chelsea continue to target the right side of the Fenerbahce defence, just as in the first leg. This time it's Kalou linking up with Ashley Cole and they are making some good progress early on here

Chelsea remain aggressive early on, clearly they do feel the need for a second goal. An excellent run from Salomon Kalou down the left side on the penalty area ended with a clever pull back which Joe Cole hit against the post

Memories of the first leg should be fresh in the minds of Chelsea players. They dominated early on in that match, leading 1-0 at half-time, before allowing their Turkish opponents back into the game. A second goal would settle the nerves
