Addicks captain remains a doubt League leaders Charlton could again be without their captain Johnnie Jackson for the visit of Rochdale. The midfielder, who scored both of the Addicks' goals when they defeated MK Dons 2-1 in his last league outing, missed the trip to Tranmere on Saturday with a calf problem and remains a doubt. Danny Haynes made his full debut in the 1-1 draw with Rovers but lasted 60 minutes before coming off with a hamstring problem and that injury is likely to keep him out. Top scorer Bradley Wright-Phillips, who replaced Haynes, should be restored to manager Chris Powell's starting line-up. However, despite scoring 14 times this season, Wright-Phillips has not found the net since November 19 which means Powell could give Leon Clarke a starting berth. Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro is an injury doubt ahead of Rochdale's trip to face npower League One leaders Charlton. Akpa Akpro was replaced with 15 minutes remaining in Saturday's 1-0 win over Bournemouth and the striker will have a hamstring problem assessed ahead of kick-off. If Akpa Akpro fails to make it, on-loan forward Michael Symes could make his first Rochdale start having been unavailable against his parent club at the weekend. Midfielder Simon Hackney has resumed light training following his abdominal injury, but is thought to be at least a month away from action. There was better news for another long-term victim on Monday when defender Marc Twaddle (hamstring) turned out for Dale's reserves against Bury and came through his first match in four months.

Addicks held by Dale Yann Kermorgant's stunning free-kick preserved Charlton's unbeaten home record as the League One leaders drew 1-1 with Rochdale at The Valley. The visitors took a shock 53rd-minute lead through Nicky Adams but the effort was cancelled out just three minutes later when Frenchman Kermorgant smashed home his 25-yard set-piece. Bradley Wright-Phillips was looking to end his goal drought stretching back to mid-November and went close twice early on, just failing to meet Bradley Pritchard's cross before drilling a low shot inches wide. Wright-Phillips' 37th-minute header produced a save from Dale keeper Peter Kurucz and Matt Taylor headed wide three minutes before the break, but the two sides went in on level terms at the break after a lacklustre first half overall. The game sprung into life early in the second period as lowly Rochdale grabbed a shock lead. Gary Jones broke clear down the right and his low cross was met by Adams, whose shot beat Ben Hamer with the aid of a slight deflection off Rhoys Wiggins. But parity was restored soon after when Kermorgant fired a stunning free-kick beyond Kurucz for his first goal since Boxing Day.
