Match Preview
As you were for Cumbrians Carlisle could field an unchanged line-up for the sixth successive match when they face Yeovil at home. Manager Greg Abbott has enjoyed an injury-free run-in and has no new problems or suspension worries as his side look to finish in the top half of the table. Central defender Danny Livesey replaced Lubo Michalik during last week's 3-0 defeat at Dagenham & Redbridge and will be hoping to have impressed sufficiently to win a recall to the starting line-up, while strikers Paddy Madden and Rory Loy are also in contention. On-loan Stoke winger Ben Marshall is sidelined with a season-ending ankle ligament injury, but will return to Brunton Park as a spectator to bid the fans farewell. Abbott's Johnstone's Paint Trophy winners are already one point ahead of last season's tally of 58 and could squeeze into the top 10 with victory. Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton will have captain Paul Huntington back. Centre-back Huntington returns after sitting out the last two games due to the ban he received for his second sending off the season in the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth on April 23. However, it remains to be seen if Huntington regains his place in the starting line-up with Skiverton hinting that he could stick with the same side that started the impressive 4-2 win over Colchester, the Glovers' biggest win of the season, last week. That would mean Town again going for a 3-5-2 formation with Luke Ayling partnering Nathan Smith and Max Ehmer in a three-man backline. Yeovil have no new injury problems but Andy Williams (ankle ligaments) remains missing as does fellow striker Sam Williams who has an unspecified injury.

Match Report
Glovers close season in style Yeovil ended the season on a high note making it six games unbeaten as goals either side of half-time from Jonathan Obika and Dean Bowditch sealed a 2-0 win at Carlisle. Carlisle manager Greg Abbott wanted his side to finish the season positively, but they crashed to a third straight defeat after a frustrating afternoon of possession without punch up front. Carlisle's first-half performance was lacklustre and their best efforts both came from on-loan Sunderland midfielder Liam Noble, who tested goalkeeper Stephen Henderson with an early 30-yard shot then fired just wide after Carlisle had taken a quick free-kick. There were more problems for the Cumbrians who lost ever-present defender Frank Simek with an arm injury before the break. Yeovil's Shaun MacDonald was a constant threat with his surging runs from midfield and he set up Obika for the opening goal in the 26th minute. MacDonald went straight at the heart of the Carlisle defence before feeding a pass through to the big striker, who from just inside the area curled his shot well out of goalkeeper Adam Collin's reach and inside the left-hand post. Next it was substitute Andrew Tutte's turn to run at the defence. This time he chose to shoot and when Collin finger-tipped the ball away, Obika lashed the rebound into the side netting. Yeovil's pace on the break led to their second goal in the 69th minute when the action switched swiftly from one penalty area to the other. Carlisle's Peter Murphy had penalty appeals turned down as he went crashing in the Yeovil box, but the Glovers came away through Obika and Andrew Welsh, whose supporting run enabled him to find Bowditch with a low ball across the six-yard box, which left the striker with a simple tap-in.
