Match Preview
No worries for Shakers Bury boss Richie Barker has no new injury or suspension worries for the visit of high-flying Sheffield United. On-loan Leicester midfielder Shane Byrne continues to struggle with the ankle injury he sustained in December's 4-1 loss to Colchester, so Mark Carrington is expected to continue in midfield. Bury head into the game in 10th position in npower League One, seven points shy of the play-off places that Barker believes they can challenge. "It's a good incentive," he told BBC Radio Manchester. "You don't just want to be marooned around about 13th and the players going `are we looking up or down?'. "Being only four places - maybe quite a few points - but four places outside the play-offs, that should really give the players something to work for over the next four months. Once we get past the 50-point mark then we'll have an eye on where we need to go." Sheffield United are expected to be unchanged as they look to cut the gap on leaders Charlton. Manager Danny Wilson has no new injury or suspension problems and is unlikely to tinker with his line-up following Tuesday night's impressive 4-0 home win over Yeovil. Stephen Quinn returned to the starting line-up after being rested for last weekend's FA Cup win over Salisbury and set up the first two goals for Richard Cresswell and fellow midfielder Michael Doyle. Another midfielder, Lee Williamson, scored two second-half goals and will also be hoping to retain his place in the line-up. Matt Lowton returned to the right-back slot against Yeovil after resting a hamstring niggle and is likely to continue, with Lecsinel Jean-Francois on the opposite flank. The Blades jumped back into second place in the table in midweek with an eighth successive home win.

Match Report
Blades keep pace at the top Sheffield United strengthened their grip on the second automatic promotion place with a 3-0 win at Bury thanks to goals from Richard Cresswell, Ched Evans and Lee Williamson. The Shakers, who went down to their first home defeat in the league since October 29, held their own in a goalless first half. The Blades failed to build on their early pressure and almost conceded when goalkeeper Steve Simonson spilled Bury midfielder Steve Schumacher's long-range drive. But after the break Cresswell sprang the offside trap to race on to Kevin McDonald's through ball and slot the ball calmly past Bury goalkeeper Cameron Belford. Evans doubled the Blades' lead just after the hour, turning sharply inside the penalty area to slam the ball home at the near post. Williamson completed the scoring nine minutes from time, drilling defender Matt Lowton's cut-back into the corner of the net.
