Barker hoping to Picken Phil
Bury boss Richie Barker is hoping defender Phil Picken will be passed fit for the home clash with Carlisle.
Picken has been troubled by ankle problems but is expected to be expected to be available to face the Cumbrians.
However, midfielder Steven Schumacher was replaced after just 31 minutes of the 3-1 win against Coventry in the Carling Cup first round on Tuesday night.
He is troubled by a calf injury and will play no part this weekend while on-loan Hull striker Mark Cullen will undergo a fitness test as he bids to shake off a hamstring injury.
The Shakers have no other concerns and Andy Bishop, who scored against Coventry, will again lead the attack alongside Ryan Lowe, whose brace against Andy Thorn's side sealed Bury's win.
Carlisle will include new teenage signing James Tavernier in their squad .
Tavernier, 19, was signed on loan from Newcastle this week and could make his debut at right-back in place of Frank Simek, who injured his hip during the opening-day defeat to Notts County.
Tom Taiwo switched from midfield to cover for Simek in the midweek Carling Cup win at Oldham, but is likely to revert back to his usual position.
Manager Greg Abbott has hinted winger Andy Welsh will start his first game for the Cumbrians since arriving in the summer from Yeovil after impressing as a half-time substitute in midweek.
Abbott will be boosted by the return of Lubomir Michalik from international duty and must decide whether to retain Danny Livesey in central defence or put the Slovakia international back into his starting XI.
Cumbrians up and running
Carlisle picked up their first points of the season thanks to goals from James Berrett and Liam Noble.
The Cumbrians quickly banished memories of a disastrous 3-0 defeat to Notts County on the opening day by making all the early running.
Tom Taiwo hit the inside of the post after a thrilling run and through-ball from Matty Robson and Berrett rifled a long-range effort narrowly wide.
Bury took a while to get going, Ryan Lowe drawing a superb save from Adam Collin with their first chance of note.
Collin was called on again to deny Worrall, but the visitors went ahead when Berrett's speculative 20-yard shot squirmed past Bury goalkeeper Cameron Belford.
Jones had a goal chalked off for a foul in the build-up, while Lenell John-Lewis nudged a tame effort wide of the post before Noble slotted home Andrew Welsh's cut-back in the final minute to make sure of victory.
