Match Preview
Schumacher back for Shakers Bury caretaker boss Richie Barker is boosted by the return of Steven Schumacher for the home clash with Burton. The midfielder is available again after serving a two-match suspension to boost a virtually full-strength Shakers squad. Barker's only injury absentee is striker Andy Bishop who has undergone surgery on his left knee and is not expected to return until pre-season training. Bury lie third after beating Northampton 4-2 on Saturday and Barker has urged his men to collect maximum points against Burton and then Barnet on Saturday. He said: "Promotion is in our own hands. "We've just got to go out and do the job against Burton and Barnet in our next two home games. "I'll be looking for six more points in those next two home games." Burton hope to have Nathan Stanton available for the trip. Boss Paul Peschisolido is banking on the big centre-half to recover from a groin injury to shore up a defence that was found badly wanting during the 2-1 defeat to Morecambe on Saturday. Tony James is another option at the back for Peschisolido, who was critical of his side's `miserable' defending at the Globe Arena. "I'm running out of ideas. I've contemplated everything and nothing seems to work, we just can't defend the long ball," said the Canadian. "We've tried every player and every possible combination and it always happens the same no matter who we put in there. We work on it in training and all we can do is keep working on it, I guess." Defenders Ryan Austin (hand) and Paul Boertien (groin) remain sidelined for Burton, who will drop into the relegation zone if they lose the first of their two games in hand on Barnet by two goals or more.

Match Report
Shakers move into second Nine-man Bury climbed to second in League Two after a 1-0 win against struggling Burton. Tom Lees' header sealed the points after the Shakers had seen both Damien Mozika and Efe Sodje sent off. Burton were also reduced to 10 men, with Sam Winnall given his marching orders in a tense encounter. A dull first half did not get going until 10 minutes before the break, when Greg Pearson had a header cleared off the line by Ryan Lowe. The hosts enjoyed another escape when John McGrath fired wide but were not so lucky when Mozika saw red for a two-footed challenge on the Burton midfielder. Burton attempted to make their advantage count after the break and Pearson was twice denied by the legs of keeper Cameron Belford. But the game was thrown wide open when Winnall was sent off for an over-enthusiastic challenge on Steve Schumacher. Bury clinched victory when Lees headed home Peter Sweeney's in-swinging corner 14 minutes from time before Sodje was red-carded late on after a clash with Lewis Young.
