Match Preview

Brewers aim to ground Gulls Burton will again be without midfielder Adam Bolder for the visit of Torquay. The former Derby man missed the win at Aldershot on Saturday after aggravating the shoulder injury he suffered last August in training and he could miss the rest of the run-in. However the Brewers are boosted by the return of on-loan Wolves striker Sam Winnall from his suspension. Defender Nathan Stanton requires a groin operation and will miss the rest of the season but long-term absentee Paul Boertien (groin) has a chance of being involved. Defender Ryan Austin has been ruled out for the remaining games with a hand injury as Paul Peschisolido's side look to build on Albion`s third away win of the season on Saturday. Billy Kee is pushing for a recall to Torquay's starting line-up. The striker started on the bench in Friday's goalless draw with fellow promotion hopefuls Wycombe, but came on early in the second half and could be handed a start against the Brewers. Ronan Murray will also be hoping to get the nod to start by boss Paul Buckle as the Gulls go in search of their first win in three matches. Craig Stanley returned to the starting XI against the Chairboys after serving a two-match ban and the on-loan midfielder is expected to keep his place in the side. Buckle is unlikely to make changes to his defence after clean sheets in their last four matches.

Match Report

Brewers and Gulls share spoils in classic Relegation-threatened Burton overturned a two-goal deficit and then surrendered the lead in a six-goal thriller against promotion hopefuls Torquay which ended 3-3 at the Pirelli Stadium. Torquay made a flying start and appeared to have the game under control with two goals inside the first 14 minutes. Burton skipper John McGrath was left red faced when Chris Zebroski slid the ball off his toe to score from six yards before Gavin Tomlin finished off a slick passing move from a little further out. McGrath made amends for his mistake by reviving his side with a spectacular 25-yard strike in the 26th minute. And Greg Pearson popped up at the far post to level the scores from a Jacques Maghoma cross four minutes before the break. Burton continued where they left off in the first half when Calvin Zola put them in front with a powerful header from Russell Penn's cross in the 56th minute. But Torquay hit back with a superb 20-yard finish from substitute Billy Kee in the 73rd minute.
