Match Preview
Problems at the back for Burton Burton are in the midst of a defensive crisis ahead of the visit of Bradford. Ryan Austin and Aaron Webster are suspended after being sent off against Gillingham last weekend while Tony James was forced off at Priestfield with a knee injury. With Nathan Stanton (hamstring) and Tom Parkes (ankle) already out, the triple blow leaves Burton with veteran club skipper Darren Moore as the only available central defender. However, boss Paul Peschisolido has revealed James` injury is not as bad as initially thought and he could recover in time to face the Bantams. Peschisolido, who could have winger Cleveland Taylor and striker Calvin Zola available again after respective ankle and hamstring injuries, is weighing up whether to go ahead with a loan signing to provide defensive cover. "I've got the promise of a loan from one club but I really have to think it through. The danger is that I take someone on loan and then end up not having to use them," the Canadian said. "It's a tricky one because I still have no cover if anything happens to Tony James or Darren Moore. Saturday is the problem because after that I could have four or five people capable of playing at centre-half." Bradford's new loan signing Adam Reed will go straight into their squad. Midfielder Reed, signed on a month's loan from Sunderland, could be included in Phil Parkinson's starting line-up as the Bantams boss chases his first win since taking the reins. Winger Jamie Devitt is a major doubt, though, after returning to parent club Hull for treatment on a hip injury. Parkinson hinted he has no reason to change his back four after dropping skipper Guy Branston for last week's home defeat to AFC Wimbledon, so another recent loan signing, Stoke's Andrew Davies, is likely to resume his partnership with Luke Oliver in central defence. Centre-half Steve Williams remains sidelined with a long-term thigh problem, but goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin could return to the squad following a fortnight's rest due to illness.

Match Report
Still no win for Parkinson Bradford City boss Phil Parkinson is still looking for his first win after seeing his side surrender a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 at Burton. Kyel Reid wreaked havoc as Bradford flew out of the blocks to score twice in the first 16 minutes. The midfielder scored the first himself with a fierce shot from the edge of the area after a beating two opponents in a winding run in the sixth minute. Then Reid turned provider with a low cross that was stabbed home from close range by James Hanson. But Burton clawed their way back to level terms by half-time. Billy Kee pounced on a Jimmy Phillips to reduce the deficit from eight yards in the 38th minute. The Burton striker's blushes were then spared after he missed an open goal in stoppage time. In the scramble that followed, Adam Bolder's shot was handled by Robbie Threlfall and Justin Richards stepped up to score his ninth of the season from the penalty spot. Chances were far and far between in the second half as the pace as both teams flagged in the heat. The best chance fell to City's Adam Reed, who had a slow shot turned round a post by Ross Atkins in the 63rd minute.
