Match Report

Rovers boss Paul Trollope said after the game: "I'm very proud of the players. We had some good spells but they had a little bit too much for us in attack.

"They're a good side and we didn't quite manage it.

"When we got back to 2-1 we had a little spell in the second half when we had some pressure but we couldn't score in that spell and then they hit us on the counter-attack.

"We left ourselves exposed a bit at the back at times and Ishmael Miller took full advantage.

"But I think the final scoreline wasn't really a fair reflection on the way the game went.

"We've done fantastically well to get this far and we've had to tell the players that because they're all really disappointed in the dressing room.

"But now we need to bounce back from this and win our games in hand and get into the top half of the table.

"West Brom have got some quality players and they could go all the way and win the FA Cup now."

After the win Baggies boss Tony Mowbray said: "We've watched the other FA Cup sixth round games this weekend with amazement, but we were determined not to fall into the same trap.

"I never thought we were comfortable although the final result suggests we won easily.

"Ishmael Miller is a very powerful player while AS Roman Bednar, who's scored bags of goals for us this season, worked hard for very little reward.

"They had the opportunity to get back into after they scored to make it 2-1, but we scored the crucial third goal and from then on there was only one team that was going to win it.

"This weekend has been a great advert for the Championship, it's a very hard league to get out of.

"I've got no preferences as to who we should play in the semi-finals but it should be a great game at Wembley whoever we're against."
