Nyatanga still out for Robins Bristol City welcome Watford to Ashton Gate but will again be without defender Lewin Nyatanga. The Robins will be without the centre-back for a further three weeks due to his persistent ankle injury. The Wales international has had an injection to try and cure the problem, but it will not be a quick solution. Manager Derek McInnes will be without the services of on-loan midfielder Sean Davis as a thigh strain keeps him out and the Bolton man is fighting to be fit for the weekend game at Middlesbrough. Another player who could miss both games is on-loan Boro defender Stephen McManus. The former Celtic man rolled his ankle at the weekend and the Robins will assess him before making a decision. Marvin Elliott (Achilles), striker David Clarkson (ankle), Cole Skuse (broken toe) and James Wilson (ankle) are all out. A goalless draw against fellow strugglers Portsmouth at the weekend meant that McInnes' side moved four points clear of the relegation zone. Adrian Mariappa and Alex Kacaniklic are doubts. Centre-back Mariappa finished Saturday's stalemate against Coventry with an ankle injury and faces a race against time to be fit for the clash at Ashton Gate. Winger Kacaniklic is expected to have a better chance of involvement, however, despite being forced off 10 minutes from time with a leg problem. Manager Sean Dyche has options should Mariappa not make it, with Dale Bennett back in full training following his bout of concussion at West Ham while fellow defender Martin Taylor is also fit again after a broken toe. Otherwise, long-term injury victim Stephen McGinn (knee) is the only absentee as he continue his road to recovery. Teenage striker Britt Assombalonga was handed his first-team debut for the Hornets at the weekend and will look to keep his starting berth ahead of challenges from the likes of Joe Garner and Chris Iwelumo.
