Robins missing skipper
Bristol City captain Louis Carey will miss the visit of Leicester.
Carey faces at least a fortnight out after a challenge by Leeds` Jonny Howson last weekend left him with a bruised shin and ankle.
Cole Skuse or Christian Ribeiro are likely to replace Carey at right-back, although Nicky Hunt is another option for manager Keith Millen.
"That`s not the only selection issue, there are others I need to look at too," said Millen. "We still need to do some work on Leicester, but the lads have been training well and it`s nice to have a full squad to choose from."
On-loan Tottenham duo Steven Caulker and Danny Rose have returned unscathed from international duty with England`s Under-21s, so Nicky Maynard remains the only injury absentee.
Last season`s top scorer has not played this campaign because of a knee injury but the striker is expected to be back in action before Christmas.
Leicester skipper Matt Oakley will be available after a knee injury but he is not guaranteed a place in the side.
The form of midfielders Yuki Abe, Richie Wellens and Andy King has been impressive and boss Sven-Goran Eriksson could be reluctant to make changes following last weekend's 2-0 win over Derby.
Defender Miguel Vitor pulled out of the warm-up before last Saturday's win against the Rams with a thigh strain and will be assessed closer to kick-off.
Eriksson has not yet made a decision over the three trialists currently training with the squad.
Cameroon goalkeeper Joslain Mayebi, Greek midfielder Ilias Kyriakidis and Benin striker Razak Omotoyossi all impressed in the reserves earlier this week.
Robins record valuable win
Bristol City eased their relegation concerns and ended Leicester's four-match unbeaten run with a well-earned 2-0 win at Ashton Gate.
Keith Millen's side started the day in 22nd place in the npower Championship table but moved out of the relegation zone as they got back to winning ways thanks to Brett Pitman's first goal for the club and a stunning long-range effort from David Clarkson.
After Steve Howard had missed a penalty for Leicester, substitute Pitman swept the ball just over the goalline for the opener in the 57th minute following a well worked free-kick.
Christian Ribeiro was fouled by Greg Cunningham on the right wing and Jamie McAllister took the free-kick short, had it back and whipped a cross into the box which Pittman stabbed goalwards from 12 yards, and despite the best effort of Foxes defender Ritchie Wellens, the ball crept in for 1-0.
David Clarkson made the game safe in the 90th minute when he fired the ball into the top left hand corner from 30 yards to secure all three points.
It could have been a different story had Sven-Goran Eriksson's side taken advantage of their early pressure.
It was the team from the East Midlands who started the better and had the first real chance of the game when David James hauled down Andy King inside the penalty area as the seven-goal hitman attempted to go round him after racing clear of the Robins defence.
However, the 53-cap England goalkeeper immediately redeemed himself by blocking Howard's low penalty with his legs to keep the score at 0-0.
Leicester had other chances during the first half to grab the opener, the best of which came just five minutes after Howard's missed penalty when Paul Gallagher rose highest inside the box but his header crept just inches wide of the far post with James well beaten.
City were a different side after the break after swapping Lee Johnson for Pitman in what turned out to be an inspired move, although it was the away side who had the first chance of the half.
Paul Gallagher's corner was swung into the far post where a host of Foxes players were waiting but Jon Stead managed to hook the ball clear.
Strikers Darius Vassell and Martyn Waghorn were thrown into the action on by Eriksson as he attempted to get his side back into the game following Pitman's goal.
Despite a few nervy moments late on, the Robins never really looked like conceding and even managed to snatch a late second through another substitute, Clarkson, as Leicester surged forward in search of a leveller.
