Match Preview

Reyes worry for Seagulls Brighton will be without Gonzalo Jara Reyes for the visit of Derby. The Chilean defender starts a three-match ban after he was sent off during Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Blackpool. Inigo Calderon is a natural replacement at right-back although Adam El-Abd could move across from centre-half with Lewis Dunk or fit-again Marcos Painter (hamstring) returning to the back four. Winger Gai Assulin, who missed out at Bloomfield Road with a slight groin strain, could be involved if, as expected, he extends his loan deal from Manchester City until the end of the season. Midfielder Gary Dicker is pushing to be involved after recovering from a broken leg so defender Tommy Elphick is the only long-term absentee with an Achilles injury. Derby have no new problems. Rookie defender Tom Naylor made his full debut at Doncaster on Saturday as boss Nigel Clough made three changes. Naylor, signed from Mansfield in November, lined up at right-back, allowing former Rovers man Paul Green to move up into midfield. Elsewhere, Callum Ball was recalled up front as Steve Davies and Nathan Tyson dropped to the bench. And, as expected, Jake Buxton came in for injured skipper Shaun Barker, who is set for a lengthy absence after dislocating a knee-cap against Nottingham Forest six days ago, at the heart of the back four. Davies and Tyson could come back into the team at Brighton, leaving Clough with the decision whether to stick with Naylor or drop Green back into the full-back position. If Naylor gets the nod, depending on how Derby line up, Green could lose his place in the side to Tyson. Forward Jamie Ward remains around 10 days away from a return after missing five matches with a thigh injury sustained on international duty with Northern Ireland.
