Match Preview
Forster takes Bees reins Nicky Forster takes charge of Brentford against Plymouth following manager Andy Scott's departure on Thursday. The veteran striker's first decision will be whether to pick himself after he was an unused substitute in Scott's final game, Tuesday night's 4-1 defeat at Dagenham. Goalkeeper Richard Lee returns from a one-match ban following his red card against Yeovil last weekend and will take over from player-coach Simon Royce. Sam Saunders came on as a substitute against the Daggers after a hamstring problem so fellow winger Sam Wood is the only injury absentee as he continues his recovery from a broken arm. Forster could include full-back Michael Spillane and midfielder Marcus Bean, who were both left out of Scott's last squad. Plymouth are hoping to welcome Joe Mason back into the fold for the clash. The 19-year-old has missed Argyle's past three games with an ankle injury but is set to return should he come through a training session on Friday. Speaking about Mason's impending return, Plymouth coach Adam Sadler said: "Everybody connected to the club - players, fans, staff - all know the talent and the ability of Joe. "He's a real handful, has got loads of potential and will grow into a fantastic footballer, so it gives everybody a lift to see someone of Joe's quality come back into the reckoning." Plymouth manager Peter Reid has no new injury concerns to contend with following Tuesday's 1-0 defeat at Yeovil, although Onismor Bhasera (knee) and Jim Paterson (personal reasons) remain sidelined. Yala Bolaise will also miss the Griffin Park encounter after picking up a late red card at Huish Park.

Match Report
Bees up and running under Forster Myles Weston scored both goals as Brentford ended a seven-game winless run with a 2-0 win against Plymouth to give caretaker manager Nicky Forster a dream start. Weston's double either side of the break clinched an emphatic win against struggling Argyle in the Bees' first game since Andy Scott was sacked. The midfielder's first came 10 minutes before the interval when he arrowed home a far post header from Sam Saunders' precise cross. And his second 10 minutes after half-time came at the end of a 30-yard run from Charlie MacDonald, who squared to Weston and he curled the ball into the top corner to give Plymouth goalkeeper David Button no chance. Button kept his side in the game with a string of saves, keeping out headers from Karleigh Osborne and Craig Woodman. The closest the Pilgrims came to breaking down a resolute Bees defence came after 12 minutes when Rory Fallon fired a fine 20-yard drive past keeper Richard Lee but against the crossbar.
