Match Preview
Bees again missing McDonald Nicky Forster will be without the services of top scorer Charlie McDonald once again as Brentford prepare to take on Leyton Orient. The striker is suffering from ankle ligament damage and has not featured since the 1-0 defeat against Brighton on March 8. Sam Saunders will miss out for the second match in a row after failing to recover from an ankle injury. He is likely to return for the Bees' clash with Carlisle next Friday. Karleigh Osborne looks set to make his 150th appearance for the club. A Lewis Grabban strike settled matters when the two sides last met at Griffin Park. Leyton Orient's Stephen Dawson is facing a race against time to be fit for the clash. The midfielder sustained a calf strain in Tuesday's 1-0 victory at Hartlepool and may miss out. Ben Chorley (knee) and Jason Crowe (ankle) are both major doubts. Both defenders have been absent since Russell Slade's side were dumped out of the FA Cup by Arsenal earlier this month. Top scorer Alex Revell will be looking to end his nine-game scoring drought. The former Brighton striker has hit 14 goals this season and the Os have only lost twice when he has scored.

Match Report
Orient run ended Brentford brought East London rivals Leyton Orient's 15-game unbeaten run to an end with a 2-1 win at Griffin Park. The Bees took the lead in the sixth minute when Marcus Bean controlled with his right foot and curled an unstoppable shot past the outstretched arm of goalkeeper Jamie Jones with his left. The home side extended their lead midway through the first half when Myles Weston slipped his man at the byline to cross low for Gary Alexander to smash home into the roof of the net from close range. But the visitors emerged more purposeful after the break and hauled themselves back into the game on 55 minutes when veteran striker Scott McGleish pounced on a moment of hesitancy in the Brentford box to slot home from five yards. The defeat was a big blow to Orient who would have set a club record had they managed to clinch a draw, but a string of fine saves from substitute keeper Simon Moore denied Adam Barrett and Alex Revell in the closing stages. The only downside for Brentford came just before the break when goalkeeper Richard Lee was taken off with what looked like a suspected fracture to his arm which puts him in doubt for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final at Wembley next month. Brentford substitute Jeffrey Schlupp should have wrapped up the points earlier for the Bees but somehow fired against the bar when it looked easier to score.
