Dean back for Bees Harlee Dean could return to the Brentford squad for the clash with Crewe. The former Southampton defender missed Tuesday night's home defeat by Yeovil after suffering a dead leg against Bury the previous weekend. But boss Uwe Rosler is hopeful Dean will be back to bolster a defence which let in three in midweek. Striker Paul Hayes is in line to make his full debut after coming on as a second-half substitute against the Glovers following his switch from Charlton earlier in the week. Midfielder Jake Reeves is still unavailable as he serves the final game of a three-match ban he received for his red card in the Capital One Cup defeat at Walsall a fortnight ago. Crewe manager Steve Davis has no new injury worries for the trip. Utility-man Matt Tootle and forward Michael West remain sidelined with hip and heel complaints respectively. Alan Martin will continue in goal after Steve Phillips underwent knee surgery this week. Luke Murphy marked his full recovery from a knee problem of his own by returning to the starting line-up and firing the winning goal in Tuesday night's 2-1 win at Scunthorpe. On-loan Manchester City youngster Harry Bunn made his Alex debut from the bench at Glanford Park and could push for a place in Davis' first XI, as could fellow forward Max Clayton after also featuring as a substitute despite suffering bruised ribs in the league opener against Notts County. Skipper Ashley Westwood started against the Iron having shaken off the effects of a head injury and suffered no adverse reaction.
