Osbourne return has Bees buzzing
Brentford defender Karleigh Osbourne is set to return to the squad for the visit of Bournemouth.
The central defender has not played since limping off in the loss to Stevenage back in October with a foot injury, but completed 90 minutes as captain for the Bees' reserves on Tuesday against Brighton.
Midfielder Harry Forrester has made only one start all season due to a hamstring injury but he also played the full 90 minutes against Brighton and could come back into contention.
However, fellow midfielder Jake Reeves is a doubt after picking up an ankle injury in training which meant he was unable to feature for the reserves.
Sam Saunders missed training on Wednesday due to illness but should be fit, while club captain Kevin O'Connor will be out until the new year with a foot injury.
Bournemouth manager Lee Bradbury will be without on-loan winger Scott Malone.
Malone has suffered a grade one hamstring tear and is expected to be out of action until the new year, at which point his temporary stay from Wolves comes to a conclusion.
Midfielder Harry Arter misses out after collecting his 10th booking of the season against Huddersfield on December 3, and the former Woking man serves the second match of a two-game ban, while Shaun McDonald is battling a groin problem.
Striker Steve Fletcher is close to a return following a tight hamstring which kept him out of clash with Sheffield United last weekend and he could feature for the Cherries.
Charlie Sheringham made his first start up front in the 2-0 loss to the Blades and will be hoping to keep his place but Shaun Cooper is a doubt after coming off seven minutes into the same game with a knock.
Meanwhile, midfielder Joe Partington remains sidelined with a back problem.
Bees get late KLegge-up
Brentford centre-back Leon Legge broke Bournemouth's hearts with an equaliser deep into injury time to force a 1-1 draw at Griffin Park.
Bournemouth looked like avenging their 6-0 Johnstone's Paint Trophy thrashing at the hands of Brentford last month with a deserved away win over the Bees.
Charlie Sheringham's first league goal looked like settling it as he was given too much time in the penalty area to chest down and volley home in the 19th minute.
Brentford almost hit back within four minutes, but Gary Alexander's header from a tight angle bounced to safety off the outside of the post.
Uwe Rosler's side had to wait until the 94th minute to snatch a point, with Legge powering home a header from Clayton Donaldson's right-wing cross.
Niall McGinn and Sam Saunders earlier saw efforts tipped to safety by Cherries goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan and until their last-gasp leveller Brentford rarely looked like drawing level, their best efforts coming when central defender Harlee Dean headed narrowly wide in the 88th minute.
