Match Preview
Hanson pushing for Bantams recall Bradford striker James Hanson could make a surprise return to the side against Stockport in manager Peter Taylor's last game in charge. Taylor, who will leave the club by mutual consent after the encounter with County, was expecting Hanson (groin) and midfielder Dave Syers (hamstring) to be sidelined for a month. But Hanson stepped off the substitutes' bench in the midweek defeat to Chesterfield and may start on Saturday, while Syers also has an outside chance of featuring. Skipper Simon Ramsden remains sidelined with a thigh injury and midfielder Tommy Doherty is not ready to return following an ankle problem, but Taylor has no new injury or suspension problems. Striker Jake Speight is pushing for a recall to the starting line-up after impressing as a second-half substitute against Chesterfield. Bradford, who have slipped to 21st place in the table, have lost seven of their last nine league matches. Stockport caretaker manager Peter Ward has no major concerns ahead of the game. County were thumped 4-1 at home by neighbours Macclesfield last weekend but have no new injury or suspension worries to contend with. The defeat to the Silkmen was all the more disappointing as Ward's men had beaten high-flying Bury the week previously. Ward said: "The Macclesfield result was disappointing because it came off the back of a good result we had against Bury. "There was a buzz around the place and I think a few people thought we had turned the corner. "But the mood in training is still positive and all we can do is prepare properly for Bradford on Saturday."

Match Report
Evans hands Taylor dream send off Substitute Gareth Evans struck Bradford's winner five minutes into added time against Stockport's nine men as Peter Taylor's reign ended in a 3-2 victory. Bradford took a 14th-minute lead when Steve Williams rose to head Michael Flynn's free-kick over former Bantams keeper Matt Glennon. However, Stockport equalised in the 27th minute as Williams lost possession to Paul Turnbull who shot through a gaping gap to score. Stockport winger Adam Griffin was sent off for handling Kevin Ellison's shot in the 34th minute but Glennon saved James Hanson's resultant penalty. And Ryan Dobie put the visitors in front on 40 minutes, Lenny Pidgeley diving at the striker's feet but failing to hold on to the ball. However, Dobie was sent off for elbowing Luke Oliver in the 65th minute, Williams headed his second goal ten minutes later and Evans' late angled drive snatched the points.
