Williams eyes Daggers involvement
Bradford defender Steve Williams is hoping to play some part in the home game against Dagenham & Redbridge.
Williams has been limited to just one appearance this season - in the Carling Cup defeat at Leeds - due to a thigh strain, but could return to the substitutes' bench as the Bantams chase their first win of the season.
Manager Peter Jackson must decide whether to stick with a 4-4-2 formation and retain Michael Flynn and Chris Mitchell in central midfield, with Jack Compton and Michael Bryan on the wings, or revert back to a 4-3-3, with Ritchie Jones coming into the side.
David Syers and another midfielder, Lee Bullock, remain sidelined.
Syers could be missing for three months after tearing two ligaments in his right knee, while Bullock is expected to be out for four weeks with a small hip muscle tear.
Defender Simon Ramsden has suffered another injury setback, with a calf strain delaying his return to the squad for the first time since February.
Dagenham & Redbridge boss John Still is unable to welcome back any of his injured players for the trip.
Full-back Abu Ogogo (groin) and strikers Sam Williams (groin) and Phil Walsh (toe) were the latest to join the treatment room ahead of Tuesday`s 1-0 win over Swindon and, despite making progress with their recoveries, all three will again miss out at Valley Parade.
Midfielders Billy Bingham (knee), Kevin Maher (metatarsal), Peter Gain (hernia) and Damian Scannell (groin) as well as strikers Rob Edmans (fractured leg) and Josh Scott (hip) all remain unavailable.
However, there was positive news in midweek with the return of Richard Rose from his groin problem and the defender should once again be available to face the Bantams.
Dagenham did at least suffer no fresh injuries against Swindon and Still will be thankful as his side look to make it back-to-back wins in their quest for an immediate return to League One.
Nurse makes Bradford sick
Jon Nurse's 27th-minute goal secured a 1-0 win for Dagenham and condemned Bradford to their third defeat in four matches.
The relegated Daggers, by contrast, have made a great start to the campaign winning three of their first four games.
The decisive goal came after Bradford failed to clear Gavin Tomlin's left-wing corne, Sam Williams had a shot blocked in the crowded goalmouth and Nurse scored what proved to be the winning goal.
Bradford almost went in front in the third minute Jack Compton struck the crossbar.
But Dagenham's lively attack caused problems for the home defence and they should have gone ahead in the 17th minute. Bradford keeper Martin Hansen could only parry Medy Elito's cross, but Tomlin fired over the bar with the goal at his mercy.
Bradford dominated the second half in a desperate search for an equaliser but the nearest they came to scoring was three minutes from the end when Chris Lewington dived full length to turn away a well struck shot from Ross Hannah.
