Doherty could return for Bantams Tommy Doherty is expected to go straight back into Bradford's starting line-up against Accrington after suspension. The midfielder, who missed Saturday's home defeat to Macclesfield, is likely to replace Lee Bullock. Striker James Hanson returned on Saturday after a hamstring strain but could be rested as he unexpectedly played the full 90 minutes, with Gareth Evans, Jason Price and Louis Moult all hoping to come in. Manager Peter Taylor has no new injury or suspension problems, but is still without central defenders Steve Williams (groin) and Shane Duff (Achilles) and long-term absentees Simon Ramsden (calf) and Michael Flynn (hernia). Bradford's mini revival has hit the buffers with successive 1-0 defeats halting their climb up the table following a run of four wins in their previous five league matches. Peter Murphy and Chris Turner will miss Accrington's trip. Murphy serves the second of his three-match suspension while Turner completes a three-match ban. Boss John Coleman has an otherwise fully fit squad to choose from and told the club's official website: "We're not looking too bad. "We have one or two little knocks but I think we've got more or less a clean bill of health throughout the whole squad so there's certainly healthy competition for places. "We might not see the benefit of those numbers but they certainly help. It's better than having 14 or 15 like we've had in the past! "With it being loan deadline week we're still looking at bringing one or two new players in."

Match Report

Price is right for Bantams On-loan striker Jason Price salvaged a point for Bradford with his first goal for the club in a 1-1 draw with Accrington which ended Bradford's run of three successive League and Cup defeats. Price, on loan from Carlisle, scored a 56th minute equaliser after a long cross from left-back Luke O'Brien caused problems for the Accrington defence. Price headed the ball into the goalmouth and as goalkeeper Ian Dunbavin challenged fellow striker James Hanson the ball ran free to Price who followed up to score as the Accrington defence appealed for a foul. Earlier, Accrington had gone in front after 21 minutes, with a penalty from Phil Edwards. Bradford's on-loan midfielder Tom Adeyemi handled the ball after losing possession under pressure from Ray Putterill and Edwards scored from the spot. Accrington deserved their half-time lead, but it was a different story after the interval as Bradford pressed hard for the winner but could not find a way through the visitors' defence again.
